feedpreps.jpg We are surrounded by hurricane preparedness messages with many being ignored. However, paying attention to them would benefit all. There are many simple, common sense procedures that very well may save property or even lives. Being prepared for living without electricity is something that could help following a severe thunderstorm. Emergencies don't require hurricanes. For example, due to a storm last week, thousands of Virginia homes were without electricity for up to 24 hours. We also need volunteers to help during times of emergencies. The photo is of a volunteer preparing to drive our mobile feeding unit to a disaster scene. If you can help, or need preparedness information, please contact us.
